Oxbox publishes two very different parts warranties, and which one you get depends on a single piece of paperwork. Register the unit within 60 days of installation and parts are covered for 10 years. Skip registration and coverage drops to the base term of 5 years.
The clock runs from the installation date, not the manufacture date. If you cannot prove the install date with paperwork, manufacturers typically fall back to the manufacture date plus a grace period, which is one more reason to keep your installer's invoice.
