About Concord HVAC Systems
Owned by Lennox International
Concord is a Lennox brand built at the Allied Products facility in West Columbia, South Carolina. It was positioned as a mid-price alternative to the Lennox premium line and sold through independent dealers.
The serial number format is a little different from most Lennox and Allied brands. Instead of the date code at the front, Concord puts it at the end. The last four digits encode the year and week of production.
Common Concord HVAC Models & Series
The most-installed Concord residential systems on the market today, organized by tier. Knowing your series helps narrow down service parts and warranty terms.
| Series | Type | Tier | Efficiency | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4SCU16LB Air Conditioner | Air Conditioner | Mid-range | Up to 16 SEER2 | Single-stage scroll compressor; Concord's higher-tier outdoor unit. |
| 4AC13L / 4AC14L | Air Conditioner | Entry | Up to 14.3 SEER2 | Single-stage; the volume builder unit. |
| 4HP16LB / 4HP14L Heat Pump | Heat Pump | Entry | Up to 14.3 SEER2 / 7.5 HSPF2 | Single-stage heat pump for moderate climates. |
| 92G1UH Gas Furnace | Gas Furnace | Mid-range | Up to 92 AFUE | Single-stage condensing furnace. |

Where It's Built
Orangeburg, South Carolina (Allied Air Enterprises plant). Concord shares production with AirEase, Aire-Flo, Armstrong Air, and Ducane.
Price Positioning
Budget-to-mid tier — typically priced 25-35% below comparable Lennox-branded equipment for similar Allied chassis.
Known Concord Issues to Watch For
A short list of patterns reported on Concord equipment. Most have been addressed with revised designs or service bulletins, but they're useful context if you're diagnosing an older system.
- •Concord units use the same Allied chassis as AirEase and Aire-Flo, so coastal corrosion and coil joint issues from the 2010-2015 era apply equally here.
- •The reverse-position serial format (date code at the end instead of the front) trips up some older online decoders; when in doubt look at the last 4 characters.
- •Concord's dealer network is smaller than other Allied brands, so warranty service can take longer in some regions.
