About Airquest HVAC Systems
Owned by Carrier Global (ICP)
Airquest is ICP's lowest-cost residential brand, aimed at replacement work where the homeowner is working with a tight budget. It has fewer options and trim levels than Heil or Tempstar, but uses the same core mechanical components built in the same ICP factories.
ICP is a Carrier Global division. Serial number format is the same across all ICP brands: two-digit year in positions 2 and 3, manufacturing week or month in positions 4 and 5.

Airquest offers a 10-year parts warranty when registered within 90 days; unregistered units default to 5 years. Compressor coverage runs 10 years on most condensers but the longer parts warranty available on Heil and Tempstar typically isn't extended to the Airquest brand.

Known Airquest Issues to Watch For
A short list of patterns reported on Airquest equipment. Most have been addressed with revised designs or service bulletins, but they're useful context if you're diagnosing an older system.
- •Airquest entry-tier units use the same N4A4/N4H4 base chassis as other ICP value brands; service-valve packing has been a noted maintenance item on units installed before 2017.
- •The cabinet sheet metal is thinner than premium ICP brands, so coastal installs see higher base-pan corrosion rates after year 7-8.
- •ICP's Observer communicating thermostat is not typically supported on Airquest-branded equipment — pair with a standard 24V thermostat.
