About ICP HVAC Systems
ICP stands for International Comfort Products, a Carrier Global division that operates as a contractor-only distribution business. Rather than selling under the ICP name at retail, ICP runs a family of separate brands, Heil, Tempstar, Arcoaire, Comfortmaker, Keeprite, Day & Night, and Airquest, each sold through different dealer networks with different warranty packaging. The equipment across all of those brands comes from the same manufacturing facilities. If you have an ICP-branded unit (typically found in commercial or multi-unit settings), the serial number decodes the same way as any ICP family brand: two-digit year in positions 2 and 3, manufacturing week in positions 4 and 5.
